1.first line managers.(managers at the lowest level of the organization that manage the work of nonmanagerial employees)
2.middle managers.(manages between the first level and the top level of the organization who manage the work of first line managers)
3.top managers.(managers at or near the upper levels of the organizations structure who are responsible for making organization wide decisions and establising the goals plans that affect the entire organization)
what is management?

1.efficiency(getting the most output from the least amount of input)
2.effectiveness(doing those work activity that help the organization reach its goals)
what do managers do?
These are standard questions that most of us in the management profession have been asked more than once. And questions we asked once in our careers too. Here, then, is a basic look at management, a primer, Management 101 from my perspective.Art and ScienceManagement is both art and science. It is the art of making people more effective than they would have been without you. The science is in how you do that. There are four basic pillars: plan, organize, direct, and monitor.
1.planning(defing goals,establising stregies and developing plans)
2.organizing(arraanging and structing work)
3.directing(working with and through people)
4.monitoring(evaluating whether things are goin as planned)
how the managers job is changing?
- changes impacting managers job for e.g(changing tecnology,increased security threats,increased competitiveness)

what is an organization?
deliberate arrangments of people to accomplish some specific purpose ;organizations are changing because the world around them is changing.
why study management?
universality of management(the reality that management is needed in all types and sizes of organizational levels,in all organizaional areas and countries around the globe)
